So I was at GC about a month ago and I saw and played a Gibson Explorer. It had a vintage color scheme and look to it. It looked just like this LP.

But it was an explorer. Black pick guard and all. It played like a charm and was cheaper than the other Explorers. Anyways, I cant find proof of its existence anywhere. Any ideas?

Read the whole post. It was the same color scheme.

What do you mean by "you can't find evidence that it existed"? Does that mean the GC no longer has it?
