I received an LTD M-50 but the person who gave it to me had gutted it so I had to put the pots and 3 way selector switch back in but when I wired it up I messed up somewhere. When switched to the bridge position it sounds way too bassy and with an effect just plain crap. The other two positions kill the sound completely. Can some one tell me what I did wrong? How to fix it or has a picture of the inside of an LTD M-50 or something thats the same.

The pictures didnt come out very good I can't seem to get them to clear up. So I'll tell you what I have done, For the selecor switch its a 3way with 8 lugs ( I think thats what their called) and I took the bare wire from the neck pup ( theres only 2 wires) and soldered it to the first lug and soldered the bare wire from the bridge pup to the last lug and the insulated white wires From both I grounded together on the volume pot. I looked it up but everything seemed to talk about 4 wire pickups and they had ground so I assumed these were ground aswell. The wires from the volume were left intact so I didnt mess with them and from the volume to the tone pot I took the insulated wire and soldered it to the top of the tone where the capacitator is soldered to because there was remains of a cut wire there and I thought that was it. and the bare wire from that I soldered to the middle lug on the tone since the third showed no signs of ever being used. Thats all I had to do aside from soldering the output jack but I knew how to do that already. I'll post a better picture once my camera charges up. Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure if this is much better but I placed a orange paper under it since he painted it white originaly, the black wire in this one is where the neck pickup is connected to.

This one is how I set up the bridge pickup the red wire. You can see where I have soldered the white insulated wires together to the ground. Since I thought they were ground wires I'm not really sure since all I seemed to find was diagrams for pickups with 4 wires, or ones that I couldnt make sense out of.

I think I just reversed them since I only see two possible ways for it to go, I want to make sure before I go on a mad soldering spree.

Try putting the pick-up cables the other way around I think there the wrong way. Try that and post back. Adjust anything else that necessary. Post back please.
