im in the process of looking to buy a new amp. i tried the spider valve 2X12 combo and was very impressed. its versatility is amazing and it sounds great but on low volume. I wanted to know if turned up past 5, if this amp starts to get muddy like the regualar spider and if it has noise supression problems.

Actually, I believe the louder you turn it up, the better it sounds.
I wasn't really impressed with it. It was leaps and bounds better than the normal spider, but at the price, you can get much better.

I love those amps. They're still a bit heavy in the bass for my tastes but they are definitely obscenely better than the Spider III. If you like it, I'd say go for it.
Heads will roll. Throats will be slit. Blood will flow like springs of water.
