So i heard there is a way to bypass the preamp whit a method whit the Gt-8/10 or pod x3.

Can anyone tell me what i exactly what i need + exactly the how i do this Ex: Xplug of pod in X plug of amp.

does the pod x3 have an effects loop? does your amp have an effects loop? you need both to do this

if so, it goes

guitar > input of x3

send on x3 > input of amp

send on amp > return on x3

output on x3 > return on amp

you then set up the x3 so that you have overdrives, wah and compression before the loop and delay, reverb and modulation effects after it

this method is most useful if you want the x3 to be primarily for its effects and not for its amp modeling

if you want to use the x3's amp models then just go:\

guitar > input of x3 > input or return of amp (return to bypass the amps preamp)

Just buy a new amp. No point trying all of this stuff with that amp.
