Recently Ive been playing a piece of music that involves double stops. When I play a double note it basically sounds like ****. However when I play the double note slower, the first note sounds fine but when the second note is played straight after it does not sound nice.

Can you guys help me solve this problem?

A doublet? You mean a two note chord, an interval of some sort? If that is the case, the second note might not be the right interval for the scale you are playing in. Try the surrounding frets to see if they work better with the first note.

i think he means double stops

either lower your distortion or tune your guitar. those are the only possible remedies for what you say is bothering you.

Amp is Laney LC15, guitar is an Eclipse, think gain is set to 3 o'clock, thats all I remember. That
level of distortion sounds fine for the majority of the song, except the double stop part.

Ok, that isn't bad at all.
But those people on youtube probably have an amazing rig.
It sounds almost fake. lol

I don't know what it is.. But your tone just doesn't match
I'm sure it can, but it isn't.
Maybe it's just the rhythm

It's just two strokes.
Try lifting your fingers abit to cut it off sooner
Don't let it ring out to much

Airman must die.
I'm Still looking for the tabs haha
