hello. I realize they made noise gates to do this but I am not really sure how a noise gate works. I hear they are rackmounted external effects which is not what I am looking for! Do they make a simpler pedal that I can plug into my pedalboard or fx loop? If so which is the best one? Thanks.

Jk, I actually no idea.

It's the ISP Decimator you want, and I don't think it's tube. However, for a noise-gate, it is very good. Do plug guitar into it; just use it as a noise gate if it works.

*bows*

I knew id be able to bring it back somewhere without it being spam!

To the TS, basically the ISP decimator is the best thing out that is not a super expensive rackmount. Otherwise the boss one which the name esacapes me is good as well.

The Boss NS-2 is what you're thinking of. It's okay, but the ISP Decimates it

bad pun.

Does the decimator plug into my pedalboard like a regular pedal? Do I place it in the input or fx loop?

I'm hearing a steady *thump thump* from the people above me and I need some porno grooves to play on my bass to give them some background music. Any ideas?
