i need to try and think of some for my band to do covers of.

we need something that is technically brilliant, but not too heavy.

some classic rock ones would be good too.

any ideas pit?

Time Warp
Munster Rag
The Nervous Breakdown
Make a Mistake with Me
Cannonball Rag with Tommy Emmanuel
Jingle Bells

His next CD is all instrumental and will come out this Summer. All songs listed above are his instrumental songs which appear in each of his 6 albums with exception of Cannonball Rag, which is a one-timer.

The Dance of Eternity is the most technically developed song in the world if you guys are looking for technical, half the songs here fail at that. 123 time signature changes.
#35
technically developed doesnt mean the same as technically brilliant, take ...and justice for all (the album) each song was technically done but done to such an extent that the songs got lost in the technicallity, now look at something say the crusade (im not a huge music guy when it comes to signatures) but believe they do quite a few time signatures throughout the entire song, while sticking to some basic (for them) riffs
