hes bending one string to the same pitch as the note he is holding on the higher string, example: outro to stairway to heaven

-----------------
3------5--------
5b7---7b9-----
---------------
----------------
-----------------

when you bend the 5th fret for example, to sound lke the 7th fret, this becaomes the same pitch as the 3rd fret you are holding down on your B string

edit: he does it at about 7:40, look up the stairway tab for more examples

oooo that well what can be done is one string bends and the other stays normal

here an example

e12
b15b
g
d
a
e

basically anything on the e and b string that is seperated by 3 frets and bent makes that sound

It's in Whole Lotta Love too. In fact, Jimmy Page does that a lot.

This is UG, we love Schecters and Ibanez and Jacksons, we hate Deans and BCR's, we hate Marshall MG's, and everyone needs a new amp.
