The time has come and my crap amp has died.

so I'm looking for a new amp somewhere in the $200-$400 price range
I don't need huge wattage.
here's what i've been looking at.

Fender Frontman Combo - 329$

Ibanez tone blaster Xtreme - 349$

Recommend new ones if you please in my price range.

EDIT: I play classic rock, rock, hard rock. No Metal or nu metal. some blues if i'm in the mood.

You can get a really good used amp for $400. My Classic 50 was $350, but you don't need that kind of wattage. But seriously look used and you'll find amazing deals.

I have the fender, and besides being loud as hell, its not all that great an amp, unless you have a good set of pedals to run into it. save a bit more and get a small tube sombo, or a larger used one.

What style? For the love of god why can't people say that in the first place. how are we supposed to magically know what to reccomend.... (k /rant)

The Crate Flexwave series is great for a guy on a budget.

I agree with darkarbiter about the Fender & Ibanez amps. Niether are any good.

how about a valveking? they're very versatile considering I have no idea what you want to play!

you dont need huge wattage but the frontman is 100W and the Ibanez thing is 150W...
go for a Vox AD-50VT or something

Go with Line 6 AMPS. I think there sweet

I smell a troll.

But if not, *facepalm* at both the amp choice (if it's a Spider anyway) and the spelling.

spiders suck, but if your talking about a flextone then maybe...

To TS, i would vote for a used peavy c30. I dunno if a VJ combo would suit your playing well (never played one myself)
