For anybody familiar with the Radiohead song House of Cards...

What is Jonny doing in this video that sounds like strings? You can see it at about 2:10, as well as in other parts of the song (3:35 has a good one too). It's pretty clear what he's doing with his pick, but is he just using loads of reverb? And can anyone here do this technique?

just get your guitar and pedals some reverb and delay and set it to certain settings and scrape your pick(make sure it's metal or something,like a coin) at certain harmonic spots to get the noise

looked like he was doing a pick scrape up/down really fast, and fretting harmonics...

yeah prolly some reverb too, but thats probably not the most essential part of whats going on...

not sure really... but its worth a shot...
