Well I did some more research and this is what I am sorta down to and I want to know the pros and cons so here is what I am thinking an carvin V3, Mesa Mark 4, Mesa roadster(little more then I want to spend but I don't want to worry about price and would rather save up then cheap out, traynor ycs100h.
So that is what I am thinking but I am willing to look at anything tube with effects loop and multiple channels around 50 watts prefered not huge though but better if it is under.

Looking forward to hearing what you have to say I play Metal but want decent clean so comment away.

What do mean by a 'Volume Switch' for the V3?

There is a channel volume for each channel, and a master volume for over-all. And a 100/50 watt switch in the back.

All those amps are fantastic, it really depends on what kind of 'metal' tone you want. Try out as many as you can.

i'd definatly rule the 6505 out
i have the 5150 and its great for metal
but those other amps you listed are better and have better clean channels
out of all those
i'd get the Roadster or the Engl
but im too educated on either, they sound amazing though.

ya looked up V3 and saw it had 50 watt switch I am turned off by the engls eq but it sounds great one thing I noticed about the V3 was on videos the gain sounded a little fizzy wanted to know if that is true or not.
