Wow, I just used some lemon oil for the first time, and changed my strings. My fretboard was so dry before, and now that I am playing it after the lemon oil, it feels so smooth and amazing!! Its like I have a new guitar. I am wondering though, how long will this feeling last? When should I put some more lemon oil on? I heard every couple of months or so?
Be cool.

Don't schedule it. Never do it on a time schedule. Just do it when you feel like it, and try to make that not very often.

Good for you. Have a cookie.

But really... there's no cookie. And if there was, you wouldn't get one.

i only oil my fret boards when they really need it, which for the past few years has been no more then twice a year, maybe three times if its really dry. but you dont want to over oil it
