Im wondering if this guitar would work good for all kind of rock sounds? mostly hard rock, or punkrock

A Schecter Damian Special ,

or is it better to buy a Schecter C-1 Blackjack? which cost 150 dollar more

Is the versions with a Floyd Rose any good also?

The pickups are better in the C-1 Blackjack and the difference in price is worth it IMHO. I would go for the C-1 without a floyd rose but it depends on what kind of music you want to play.

If you play hard/punkrock I'd go for the blackjack over the damien

I've only played a c-1 and omen-6 extreme with floyds..
the omen FR was pretty crap compared to the TOM version,
but the c-1FR was pretty awesome. but its your choice if you
want a trem or not

what do they mean with 26-1/2" scale ? Is it wider between the frets than on a normal guitar?

you can get a schecter damien fr for like 350 if you'd rather have a damien with a FR, i got mine for 350 after i about ordered it online for like 450 or sum ****

i personally like my d FR its plays smooth and it holds its tunings good, i wouldn't suggest the FR if u like to down tune to like drop c n **** bc my FR dont work well w/ heavier gauge strings
