This is yet again an other unfinished piece that still needs work done. But I thought I'd post it anyway. C4C Just post the links and I'll do my best.

Multi Colored Fish

She doesn't know where she's going
Or what she's leaving behind
She spent seven years in the desert
Seven more in search of a home
She has climd the highest mountain
And still can't hear the thunder roar in the valley
But tonight there's a light in the sky
And all those who see it shall drop to their knees

The sea is calling the old familiar sound
Down by the shore gazing at a starless sky
She's seen the throne and heard the trumpets
But still denies the crown
She talks of life and ponders death
Proclaiming them to be just strangers in the crowd
But tonight there's a light in the sky
And all those who see it shall drop to their knees

The king and his aid stood on the castle wall
Courtyard filled with followers and other wayward souls
He cried "I have the key I've found the door"
Messiahs they cried as he held the blade to the sun
Tonight I'll sleep on golden shores
Little does he know my friend his dreams are but stones
And the light in sky is growing
And all those who see it shall drop their knees

The sun goes down upon their forlorn town
She was born to be free inside a steel cage
Her heaven painted red with a young mans blood
At-least for now she has shelter to prepare for the storm
But tonight there is a feast in the graveyard
Attended only by the grateful dead
And there's a light in the sky, it's blinding
All who those who see it shall drop to their knees

The rain falls upon the priest who's been shot in the street
The mayor says he resisted arrest when they tried to bring him in
After healing a sick man who wasn't suppose to walk again
Don't preach your words here you're not the law
If we wanted to change we would have built a tower
The storm is coming they won't escape
And there's a light in the sky, it's washing over
All those who see it shall drop to their knees

She stands by the fountain it waters can't heal her wounds
For the scars on her hands and feet are hers to bear
The beggar by the well who speaks in riddles
Is drawing faces in the sand
When the rain comes all shall be cleansed
But before she can be healed she must open her eyes
The blinding light in the sky that's covering
All those who shall see it shall drop to their knees
