I ordered a PRS Private Stock a while back (i saved for over a year). The body is a Santana II-style with a West-Coast Curly Maple-topped African Mahogany that is as thick as a Les Paul. The neck is a 25" scale Brazilian Rosewood one-piece with an Ebony Fretboard. The Inlay on the fretboard is a depiction of a katana dripping blood (in layman's terms: samurai sword) in Mastodon Ivory, & Red Coral. On the maple top a samruai is inlaid in Black Onyx, Red Coral, & Mastodon Ivory. Finally the kanji symbol for "Ronin" Inlaid on the back in Agoya. the finish is what PRS calls "Fire red". I'm using the uncovered Tremonti bridge pickup and a custom wound covered PRS neck up (both tappable with mini-switches), the trem is up-routed like on the Tremonti model and all the hardware is chrome, and it sounds killer through all my amps, overdriven or not.

I'm hearing a steady *thump thump* from the people above me and I need some porno grooves to play on my bass to give them some background music. Any ideas?

Same in other post....
I've bought, sold, and traded more gear than I care to admit.
#15
How much did it cost and how long have you been playing?

EDIT: this sounds fishy. Willing to spend 18k on a custom guitar but can't afford a camera?

Plus in your other thread you said you inherited the money, and not saved up for it.

It's stereo guitar, and I don't think it's a real guitar. However, for a stereo guitar, it is very good. Don't plug amp into it; just use it as hi-fi if it works
i have a 'white guitar'

sounds good, but you cant exactly workhorse the thing.

i like to think of guitars as musical tools rather than works of art - there are very few exceptions to the rule....

dude...if it's a Private Stock PRS, you know it's expensive

i don't see why how long he's been playing has anything to do with.....anything, but alright.

im sure a PRS Private Stock is not 18k or even 10k for that matter, and he never said he couldn't afford another camera, he said it's his "next buy".

And really who cares if he inherited the money or not?

^nobody really cares full stop.

we're not happy for him.

we'd all like to own that guitar for ourselves instead of him.

we all come on here to moan, ask stupid questions, give stupid answers, mumble or break people to bits.

(what do you mean, im the only one who does all that?)
#23
maybe he inherited all of those guitars along with the money and had actually been saving a year before someone unfortunately passed away. I said 'maybe'.

seems odd to create two threads almost exactly the same, one with a poll, and then not come back to respond or defend himself. Maybe he got banned.

I think someone thats been playing for a longer amount of time can appreciate something of that expense and craftsmanship much more than someone who just picked up the guitar and bought a PRS custom for the lulz, i was just interested.

In his other thread he said that it cost him $18,000

ok stop having a cow, i am poor, technically homeless. i like to test people and the gear on my page in more of a wish list, but i must say you people are quite observant.

Why post about gear you don't have? People don't really care about what gear you have, and are actually more likely to rip you if you have something expensive. Plus it makes you look really shallow.

it does fit because It's stereo guitar, and I don't think it's a real guitar. However, for a stereo guitar, it is very good. Don't plug amp into it; just use it as hi-fi if it works

but you now need a new amp because It's stereo amp, and I don't think it's tube. However, for a stereo amp, it is very good. Don't plug guitar into it; just use it as hi-fi if it works

also -

It's stereo thread, and I don't think it's useful. However, for a stereo thread, it is very pointless. Don't post into it; just close it if it works
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.
