every once in a while i'll wake up in the middle of the night and find myself laying on my side. i'll try to switch over to the other side, but moving my head even slightly causes horrible inner-ear pain on whichever ear is on top (ie: not touching the pilliow).

does anybody know what could be causing this?
and i don't think it's serious enough to see a doctor
