Why is my Furman PQ-3 so noisy? Even when it's plugged into the effects loop it generates enough noise (hum) that it's not even worth using and I end up unplugging it.

I really like the tone that it gives me, but with all of the background noise, who needs it?

Anyone out there know how I can fix this...besides using a noise gate.

Thanks in advance-

Only A Ground/lift Switch On Your Amp Can Fix That.if It Has One Switch To Lift.its A Ground Loop Problem Causing The Shielding Between The Amp And Audio Device To Pickup Electricity.just Google Ground/lift Switch For Details.i Had Same Problem With My Behringer 5band Parametric Rack Eq Which Is Kinda Like The Furman But Cheap Compared To The Pq3
