I looking to spend $200 or less.

Are the cheap $100 non motorized ones any good?

I can't seem to affort the time and gas money to go to the gym everyday anymore so I have to have a treadmill!

I have no clue where to start...can anyone point me in the right direction here??

check craigslist, a lot of people give those things away, I also second the run outside option.

With boys it's like "here's an incredibly complex sport to learn with sophisticated rules and various interdependent roles to play in a social unit."

For girls it's like "here's Barbie...you're fat!"

The world is your treadmill. Why would you ever want to restrict yourself to a piece of shit machine?

lol!

But then go to someplace where its safer to run then...

I live pretty far away from the gym i go to, its a pretty crap area near where i live to run, so i go to the area by my gym, which is by the sea and run there. Its great running by the sea!
