So you've just taken a shower or something, then when you step out, you realise that the skin on your finger (fretting hand, or picking hard for finger pickers/stlyists) is peeling. So what do you do?

Im asking this cuz now both of my two fingers I use for fingerstyle are missing a layer of skin. And it's been this way for a few months now. If I keep playing it wont heal, if I stop playing, it will heal but peel again in the shower.

It happens. It's a natural process of skin dying off/being replaced.

It's happened to me, and I haven't worried about it.

If you have to play, put anything that will stick over, ie. band-aids, sports tape, normal tape. Anything will do really, it stops is from further pain, and you can still play (it's a bit annoying).

And +1 to eat it.

My rotosounds file them for me. I was just wondering whether is would be a good idea to play more, or wait for it to heal.
