My 200-450 budget for a tube amp is restricting but I've narrowed it down to 3. I play Rock, Hard Rock, Classic Rock, and if I'm in the mood blues

here are the three I'm between
Peavey ValveKing 112
Peavy Windsor studio 20W
Crate V Series V-18-212

Well those are the three comments, suggestion, and reviews are very welcome.

Thanks

Id go for the crate.

Seeing as i dont think much of the VK, have heard nothing but crap about the Windsor studios and have heard very good things about the valve crates.

I swapped with a Celestion v30. As to how good it is, judge for yourself by looking at the clips on my profile.

Make sure you try them all out. My friend has a Valveking and we BOTH hate it. I just don't think it's a nice sounding amp. Maybe with a tube and speaker change it's alright. I would save another $150. Because for $600 you can get something like a used Marshall JCM2000 Dsl401. It would blow the doors off those 3 amps. Even if you don't want the Marshall you will have far better options for a used amp with $600.

Sorry, don't mean to bash the VK.
