I havent seen too much on these.
im in the market for a new metal guitar and the Moser bastard v caught my eye.
im looking for something a little different from all the ibanezes, schecters and ESPs in the music scene here.
so does anyone know about these guitars and if they are worth $840?
or should i stick with a schecter Hellraiser or ESP ec-1000?

Spec-wise from what I can remember they're not too bad. If I got one I'd def change the pups, but I would suggest that on almost any guitar that doesn't come with absolutely great pups stock. Also, if you got a model with a FR, I would suggest changing the LFR to an OFR or Schaller, whichever fits best. Maybe they have nice LFR's, I've never played one, but the only LFR I've ever heard to be really good are Jackson LFR's, and this obviously isn't a Jackson.

I would say go with the Schecter Hellraiser. For $850 you get screaming active EMG's, and an OFR. If you don't want a floating trem, the EC-1000 is the way to go. If you want something that sure you're going to have to work on and you'll probably put about $1,200-$1,300 it, then the moser is the one for you. Especially if you want a metal guitar.

Idk, I would still say Hellraiser. I mean it may not be really super "metal" but it's the cheapest of them all and has better pups than the moser and a better trem.

yeah, i dont know if i want to spend that much on a guitar where im gonna change the pickups right away.
but this will be a birthday present, im paying for some of course.
so maybe i could get the Moser and then getting new pickups a little later.
I just think the Moser looks killer.
but the Hellraiser is probably more logical, as i can also get a discount and it sure does look good too.

Moser's USA shop is amazing. So, if it's one of those, go for it.

If it's a real custom shop then yeah those guitars are great but no way you'll find one for less than $2-3000. I don't know about the imports however.
