Is it me or is there this annoying fuzz in the distortion.. From what I hear on here GT's aren't the best choice.. I'll probably upgrade to JJ's soon then.

5150's are notoriously noisy. get a noise suppressor (isp, ns-2, ehx... i forget)

go jjs man, i had them and they decimated all.

but he's right, get a surpressor. the isp decimator is really nice though pretty spendy as pedals go...

oh, like you have fizzy top end? me too...

ask for tube suggestions in the sticky. new preamp and powertubes should fix things up.
