Hey guys. I bought a Peavey Classic 30 a couple of months ago and i need new tubes. I looked at the "everything you wanted to know about tubes" thread , but still not sure what i want. I want good cleans and on the lead channel, higher gain. and im not looking to spend more than 80 for a full set. I'm pretty sure i don't need to bias my classic 30, as peavey says its "plug and play"

JJ's in the power section, tungsols in the preamp.

JJ's sound spectacular in the power section of classics.

Just make sure the power sides are matched. I also order low microphonics with late break up. The new Mullards 12ax7 just smoke.JJ or tungsol are great choices also.
