Hi, me and my girlfriend are thinking of making a sort of folk/rock "band," we probably would try to get some gigs at some local coffehouses/small venues but it would be mostly just for fun. I would be playing guitar and she would be singing and maybe rocking a tambourine/cowbell. I'm thinking of a list of songs that we could start off with before writing our own material. Take a look at my list and tell me what you think.

This is what i'm thinking
My,My,Hey,Hey-Niel Young
Karma Police-Radiohead
Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground-White Stripes
In the Cold Night-White Stripes
Jolene-The White stripes cover version probably
Blowing in the Wind-Bob Dylan
Mr. Tambourine Man-Bob Dylan
Hurt-Nine Inch Nails
Gold Lion-Yeah,Yeah,Yeahs
My Moon My Man-Feist

Any suggestions for songs simmilar to these would be great.
Crystal- Fleetwood Mac
Landslide- Fleetwood Mac
For You- Bruce Springsteen
Does the Bus Stop at 82nd Street- Bruce Springsteen
Into the Mystic- Van Morrison
Colorful by The Verve Pipe
Don't Follow by Alice in Chains
are two that come to mind. Both aren't too hard to learn, and are great songs to boot...
