Well my budget is $ 700
and i want an epiphone guitar it would be my second guitar,
(the first is a Lyon by Washburn Ll115 ¬¬
and a small amp like a Roland microcube
what would you recommend me?

try looking at the Epiphone Futura Prophecy explorers..... they have active EMG pups and you can even get it with a original FloydRose!

pretty neat if you ask me..... but there are lots of other cool guitars out there! But you only want Epiphone?

Ibanez RG2228 Prestige
Schecter C7 Jeff Loomis FR (18volt mod)
Epiphone Gothic Explorer (with SD Blackouts)
Ibanez RG350M Yellow
Peavey C5 Tigerwood 5string bass

Schecter makes some absolutely awesome guitars! I guess ESP LTD's also would be worth a look. And then there's BC Rich

the possibilities are endless!

but then again it all depends on what style of music you like to play.....??

well, what type of music do you play? that should seriously affect your choice.

ibanez is pretty good and well-rounded, check out the ART series maybe? theyre good quality inexpensive guitars.

just remember rule #1: try before you buy

I have trained a live tarantula to calm and sit on my guitar due to the awesome powers of my rocking. When I am not playing it angrily bounces about my room hitting everything that isn't me.

If you like downtuning going back up alot, don't get a floyd rose, way too annoying and time consuming.
My Gear Brah:
  • Ibanez K7 (silver)
  • Gibson Les Paul Custom (ebony w/ gold hardware)
  • Mesa Triple Rectifier Head
  • Mesa Rectifier 4x12 Traditional Cab
  • Too many pedals to list...

Why Epi?
Why not Gibson 2nd hand?
much better
anyway, what about PRS SE?
I just Bought Gibson Explorer with EMG for 550$
Great guitar!

PRS SE's are far superior in quality to Epi's. I've also read numerous reviews and such where people have said that some of the SE's are even better than Gibson. These Gibson comments however are not mine, though, I haven't really played on Gibson's. but, if you're thinking between Epiphone and PRS SE, go for the PRS.

Cant help with an amp, but i played and epiphone crestwood reissue a while back, almost as good as the real deal, Pickups were a bit bleh, but the neck was to die for. the shop was willing to do it for about 400, look into them, they look way classy too
best of luck m8
