Ya well when i wrestle/play with my dog he sometimes jumps on my back and starts humping me. But should he be doing this if he is neutered?

.18's... That'd be insane... I mean you gotta imagine how much tone you'd be getting tho, you'd sound really nice. I don't see how he played as clean as he did with those if he did play with them tho :/ that's crazy high gauge. May as well use bass strings

*NOTE: THAT WAS SARCASM, NEVER EVER EVER EVER TRY TO TUNE A BASS TO STANDARD GUITAR TUNING OR USE BASS STRINGS ON GUITAR. YOU JUST MIGHT EXPLODE.

Yeah I read somewhere that he had gone up to that gauge and then dropped down to .13's later on in his career to save his fingers

I don't believe that when SRV was experimenting with a 0.18 high E he had the rest of the strings realtively heavy. I imagine the rest wouldn't have been heavier than an average 0.14 set.
