Hey I'm asking for a friend, are these small metal muffs as good as their big brother?
#2
a lot of noise complaints on them.
in addition i find the EQ a real necessity on MM.

if you can return it then go for it. if not, then might not be worth the risk.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.

Just go with the real deal. No point in cutting corners when you're wanting a specific sound and the Regular Metal Muff is only 20 bucks more i Think. You end up paying more to keep it smaller.

cool I was just wondering cuz the regular has the top boost which he really doesn't need.

I love my metal muff, it is a bit trebly though. But with the full sized one where you can dial in the eq its much more versatile

I have the one with the top boost...I love it, it completely changed my tone, more gain than you'll ever need

Go with the full sized Metal Muff, the eq control add a lot more tonal variety compared to the nano.
