So we've got our first "Big gig" on saturday, infront of 200+, or atleast we're told so.

Our setlist is,
Our "Popular" opener, Everything, (Slower and heavy).
Then a pair of thrashy standards.

The part i'm looking for input on, is the cover/covers.

We're between buckcherry's crazy bitch, because pretty much everyone knows it, and we think its funny, and killswitch engages End of Heartache.

Then one of our singers solo songs, reworked into a heavier version.

What does UG think.

(Would put links up, but I'm asking, not promoting)

I vote for Buckcherry. It's a catchy song and a crowd pleaser so that's probably your best bet.

Black Label by lamb of god, easy song, fun crowd interaction song. But i agree with touji, covers get you nowhere.

Maybe some Iced Earth?

That's why you put a spin on them and make them hella heavy. But the weezer song No One Else is actually kinda heavy.

See above.

Its our own twist on buckcherry.

Lamb of god is out of the question, because we dont scream.

We're playing four originals, All of which are extremely catchy.

I should have explained better.

The cover is a backup thing, as we have a 50 minute set, with setup and tear down. Each of our originals is about 6 minutes long
so we figure on 15 minutes for set up and tear down
1 minutes in between songs.
so 28 minutes if everything goes perfect, leaves us with about 6 minutes to fill.
