Hi,
I need some help with installing this new Seymour Duncan set of mine.
The wiring diagram : [click]

1. The part where red & white are joined together with a black bar. Does it mean that they need to make contact or just be isolated? And what are they for by the way, for extra wiring like coil tap?

2. Is the pots surface an electric conductor? I´ve always wondered about those solder area if they must be on separate spot not making contact or not.

3. I can not find any ground wire from bridge so i plan to drill a small hole just under it to pull a cable out. So now, is there any specific place I must connect to the bridge or?

1. The red and white are soldered together and taped together. Yes they may be used for coil tapping.

2. The pots surfaces are conductive and they are used for grounding.

3. It may be connected anywhere on the bridge.

Becareful when soldering these because if its too hot it ruins the part. Screwed mine up by using too much heat...

Oh, I did screwed up some electronic before with 50W soldering pen. Switched to 25W and it worked perfectly fine ever since.

And by the way, does it help to cover the pickup with copper foils?
