What is the funkiest chord you know. I wanna make some kind of a funk song but i don't listen to any funk music or know anything about it. Kinda like some incubus songs im looking for. You know?

No chord sounds a certain way, besides there base minor/major/dissonant/etc sound.

It matters on how you use them, but from what I hear, most funk players just use barre and 7th chords.

9ths sound good, but generally anything on the top 3-4 strings with lots of treble sounds good - it's more about the feel than anything, listen to some funk.

The best way to get the feel for mine is to count in 16ths and get a scratchy, mutey chic-a-chic-a rhythm, like the shaker in this from 0.20 on:

Well, the funk is more about rhythm. Listen to James Brown, Sly & The Family Stone, Parliament, Funkadelic...
