I was looking at the line6 toneport ux2 so i could start doing a little recording here and there just to hear what i sound like. I've heard good things about the toneport but i have a question im hoping you guys could answer. Can you use a backing track with the toneport ux2? Say if i wanted to record something, would I be able to hear the backing track and the guitar? Thanks

Yeah, especially if you use something like Audacity to record; you can have the backing track playing in audacity and record you part over the top.

yeah...you can put the backing track into ableton live (the recording software that come with toneports).

I've recorded some stuff using a UX1 on www.myspace.com/garyd1991 if you want to hear how it sounds
