My bands just looking for some easy power chord dominated song. Similar to teenage kicks and stuff. We thought of sex pistols but our drummer and bassist don't like them. They can have a solo and stuff, but something easy to learn. Thanks.
I think thisis the right place for it, tell me if it's not.

+1 , the bass solo might take a little while to learn though

mostly any green day song. If you are going to play at a party you might want some green day. Also some boys like girls songs are mostly power chords

boys like girls is full of so much fail.

but any nirvana song usually turns out fun and energetic.

Pretty much any punk band. Some personal favorites of mine are Bad Religion, Nofx, Against Me, and Rise Against

Any Iggy and the Stooges, little solos in, good stuff!

Or Greenday, but they're crap.

Yes!

Getting the whole audience chanting "If the kids are united they will never be divided" is so fucking moving.

Bass Solo is easy in that song.

Try punk for size. Rise against sounds good and is generally easy.
Or something like Jet's are you gonna be my girl.
#23
Try Collective Soul songs. Especially "Energy" and "Why, Pt. 2".
Peace, love, happiness, and rock n' roll.
(But mostly love.)

Unfortunately most of the genre of 'modern rock' is pretty much entirely played as powerchords. While they're good for fillers please don't be one of those guitarists who's entire setlist depends on that one shape.
#32
a lot of stuff by the Clash is mainly power chords (for the rhythm parts anyway) and even the leads and whatnot are usually pretty basic, plus they sound a lot more interesting than most generic modern rock/punk stuff.
