Is there any way of having a portable dvd player that could access files from a portable hard drive?
Thanks in advance

yeah, ive seen them but the small screen doesnt appeal to me.
plus the idea of being able to watch dvds and play files off a hard drive would be very beneficial.

I've got an external hard drive that can be plugged into a tv and can play DVDs. you just take the video_ts folder from the dvd and copy it onto the hard drive and then you can play it on the tv.

it also plays .avi files and a few other video and music files.

doesn't have a screen though.
