im leaning toward the xd because its cheaper and lighter... but im disturbed by only treble and bass knobs

I think that most people like the cube over just about any ss amp, so I would go with the cube...

what kind of music do you play?
if you play mostly heavy rock and stuff, go for the Cube definitely. if your more into cleans and light od, go for the fender.

alright i'll go for the cube... but these answers surprise me... generally people are like "SS=suck tube all the way"

uhh style of music, you're comapring a mediocre solid state to a fairly good tube amp, I would in most cases go for the Fender.

My guitar teacher's got a Cube 60 he uses on occasion. It sounds pretty good for a little practice amp.

The xD is a a joke, my friends broke 2 days after he bought it.

I conviced him to get a valvetronix, and hes never looked back.n

maybe he was been a douche with the amp, and wasn't looking after it.

A: Your friend must not take good care of his amps if he broke that thing in 2 days. I've had mine for about 3-4 months, and it was a floor model. It's still in good working condition.
B: The XD is an upgrade from the Valvetronix in every way.

The XD is my choice. I have a MicroCube and it's a nice battery powered amp, but I don't have any experience with the 60.
