Hey guys, I am new to this amp. How do I put my ISP decimator through the effects loop so I can have my noise gate working?thanks so much!

uh... you'll need 2 instrument cables to start.

fx send ----cable---- pedal input --- pedal output ----cable---- fx return.
Gibson SG Standard + 18volt EMG-81 & 85
Mesa/Boogie Mark IV + Recto 2x12

You might want to try it running from guitar>decimator>amp. The Mark itself isn't very noisy but which guitars you send into it is what is amplified into noise.

I prefer mine in that configuration... It acts more organic in the loop which i like but it also acts a bit strange. Hard to explain, but most guys run it like above..

+1, that's how I run mine, eventhough I don't need it with the Mark IV anyway, I'd suggest you try that as well.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
