Will a Fender Vintage 57 Reissue bridge fit a Squier (made in Indonesia) body?

The auction ends soon so a response soon would be great! Thanks!

No idea. Couldn't hurt to give it a try though. Still pretty useful thing to have even if it doesn't fit in this guitar.

The '57 RI bridge has a bigger string spacing and the 6-screw holes won't line up - 2-7/32" vs. 2-1/16", not a huge difference, but it'll require some filling of the hole.

You can buy the MIM Standard bridge and it'll line up perfectly with the MII Squier holes. Make sure to buy the 2006 model or later since those will have the beefier tremolo block, if you haven't bought the replacement bridge, yet.

Squires are metric and fenders are imperial so the yes the 2 pins for the bridge are off enough to not work. I was looking at the same thing on mine and decided it wasnt worth the effort. You would need to pull the old sleeves, use dowels, and redrill the holes. How stable it would be long term dont know.
