To be honest, I'd suggest picking up a Boss-GT8. They're going to become CHEAP when the boss gt-10 comes out.

The thing is, with the GT-8, you simply have to tweak it to get your sounds, but when you do, it's incredible. I guess if you're not into that stuff then the RP 500 would be good.

I've been incredibly disappointed by the RP300A, it sounded thin, fake and digital. Reminds me of a Spider II, and that's not a good thing.

Ok. Good info. Thanks guys. I'll spend the extra $200 and get the Boss GT 10 then. I was almost ready to purchase it anyway until I saw the RP 500.
