Generally any amp in the same price range is better than the MG. In this case you've got one of the best amps in the price range up against one of the worst.

Cube 60 wins.

The MG because it says Marshall and it's a halfstack.

No, go with the cube, they are really nice amps.

Try them both out and see for yourself.

or save for something better.

why no tube amps?

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

The MG half stack is heavier, so the sound will be much more brutal. That's when you throw it out a third-story window after you play it for 5 min.

Didn't Kerry King use MGs at some point?

I think he just endorses them because he likes sacks of money

Here we go again Another person thinking it's really difficult to replace a tube every few years. So he settles for a **** amp. The Cube is good but for $600? Definetly a B-52 At112. Like 550 new with great tones.

Cube 60 > MG

and believe me, I have a Micro Cube and that alone is better.
