Foo Fighters - My Hero (Skin And Bones version)

Only once for each. If i try to sing Hallelujah with emotion though, I come close to it. I love that song.

No song has actually made me cry, but songs were playing while I was crying, does that count?

Oh, actually.. Maggot Brain by Funkadelic made me cry, I think.

Behind The Screams by CKY.

We played it at my best friend Brandons funeral.

Then back in May of last year at my friend Eric's funeral we played Follow The Sun Down by Dark New Day.

Anytime I hear those songs I just stop and cry silently. They still tear at my heart like they did at each of their funerals.

Man, I get so overwhelmed by music. It doesn't even have to be the lyrics; just a certain interval or chord change can set me off.

But some songs...
- The entire 'XO' album by Elliott Smith; it was given to me by a boy not long before we broke up.
- "Styrofoam Boots/It's All Nice On Ice Alright" and "So Much Beauty in Dirt" by Modest Mouse. The last one because of the same guy; he put in a short film he made me. I cannot listen to that song.
- "Casimir Pulaski Day" by Sufjan Stevens - such a sad story, and a beautiful arrangement. Even reading through the lyrics can make me tear up.
- "Someone Great" by LCD Soundsystem. It's the lyrics in that one, I can relate to it really well.
FUNK IS THE WAY

you can be in my dreams if i can be in yours
