I really dig the new album by Vieux Farka Touré. You can listen to some good video's at http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=89601947

His dad Ali Farka Touré was great also.

Really into the African sound or "Desert Blues" as called sometimes.

Would really like to get a hold of some learning methods to this type of music. Especially Ali and Vieux. Just amazing stuff!

Trying to find an angle on learning... some books... anything! If anyone knows any avenues of approach ... or has some tablature PLEASE hook me and the list up.

Take Care,
Some Ali farkature's songs was on pentatonic (minor/major) scales other that blues.I can play the song named"Ali's here",but I never thought about tabbing it because no one know him here,I think.

African themes are fun.
