Hey guys. I am in the market for a new guitar but I want some recommendations.

I am looking for a guitar with:

-Thru-body stringing
-No Tremolo (whammy bar)
-No Bolt on neck (set in)
-Preferably a unique fretboard design, like sharktooth inlays or something else

Anyway, I play a little bit of everything. Blues, Metal, Oldschool Rock, you name it. So it needs to be kind of versatile. I want a good neck for soloing though.

I was kind of looking into the SZ series Ibanez has. The SZ720, the SZ520QM, the Sz320 and so on. But yeah, lets see what you guys come up with.

Unless you're sure she likes you, telling her you like her has a 110% chance of failing.

But hey, at least you have a 10% chance of absolutely guaranteeing failure.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

Wasburn X series. Wonderful for the prize. DO you mind a bridge tailpiece combination. If you dont, then a les paul.

Sorry, not sure what you mean by that...

As for price range, I don't really have one, I just want a guitar that will last a long time, like so I wont have to buy for another few years.

Thanks for all the recommendations, you guys are awesome, keep 'em coming.

He specified through-body STRINGING and a set neck.

+1 Washburn X50 Pro

Yamaha AES620 isn't a bad little guitar either.

I took a look at the Carvin guitars. Probably a bit too expensive for me. However all the other recommendations have taken my interest. I've pretty much narrowed it down to either the Washburn X50, the Schecter C-1 Classic or one of the Ibanez's.

By the way nobody has commented on those guitars. Anybody played one of them? The SZ series I mean. I'm thinking about a 720, the one with the tangled roses down the fretboard. But yeah, they any good?

Thanks for all your responses and time.

The nice part about being a pessimist is that you are constantly being either proven right or pleasantly surprised

Also caught her playing fallout boy on my guitar, changed my strings and cleaned it the next day.
