Yesterday, my wireless internet stopped working with my laptop. It works perfectly fine with the other computer in the house, but when I try to repair to the connection it just says "Wireless Adapter Cable is Unplugged". I've restarted the modem and router tons of times along with my laptop. Nothing seems to work and I'm updating the drivers for my wireless card in my laptop right now to see if that helps. I'm directly connected to my modem right now as well.

Anyone know what's wrong?

Lol, tis a b*tch indeed, for the signal in my house to get from the router to my pc, it has to go through a brick wall & about 10 metres of dirt. In other words, "low" signal strength is a good thing to me.

Maybe this is when wired is better than wireless.

For computer components to wear out? Yeah, pretty common. Especially in laptops.

Does it cost much to replace the card? It's built in.

ou might have to get one that fits into an expansion slot, they aren't terribly expensive.

Yeah, or a USB one, a bit annoying, but better than a cable.

You could see how much it would cost to get the internal one replaced.
