These days i have lots of studying to do.so i can only play for lets say 2 hours at night.so i heard that if you switch off and switch on a valve amp many times in a short amount of time it's more likely to get damaged. so i ask . what should i do if wanna play for a little amount of time with my engl ???

for example if want to play for 5 minutes what should i do?

just turn it onto standby if you plan on using it a little later. if not its not going to damage it unless you don't let it warm up enough.
