I was thinking about maybe buying Boss MT-2 Metal Zone or DigiTech XMM Metal Master to boost my lead tone (stuff like Metallica/Megadeth...),but I heard that pedals are not so good with SS amps.So does anyone have experience with this particular combination?

Don't use them as a boost on an SS amp, just as you main distortion. And don't get either of those pedal, get a metal muff for metallica/megadeth stuff.

30X, says so in his sig.

I don't know know how well the pedal's gonna work with your amp (it's modelling afterall), but I suggest you try it in a store (with your own amp or a similar) before you buy it.

Don't get a distortion or boost pedal for a modelling amp for the love of god.
Whoever says SS + pedals = bad needs to rethink. Really, only modelling amps don't sound good with distortion/modulater pedals. I would go for an EQ pedal and leave it at that.

You can't really boost the distortion on a modelling amp, they don't work like that.
