What music does she like?

I'll go out on a limb and suggest Machinae Supremacy's cover of Britney Spears' "Gimme More" though.

And you're obviously here because you fancy Phill.
Phill is a very attractive guy...

"I'm so tempted to sig that, Phill" - Sig it then

Unless otherwise stated, assume everything I say is in my opinion.

Well, I take it this girl has a bad taste in music.

So I'd play a Blink-182 song. Adam's Song, maybe?

COB's cover of "Hit Me Baby One More Time"

Edit: Oh, that kind of stuff. Well, try One, Paranoid, War Pigs. Search what songs were in Guitar Hero and Rock Band and pick songs you could actually stand to play.

Crossroads by Cream/Clapton( if you like blues/improv)
Not too difficult, driving rhythm, annnnnd it's even in GH
Plus you can vary the song like Clapton does (i.e. make it slower, change the main riff) to your liking

Your best bet is pop and alternative rock. My band has a setlist for such occasions with 90's and early 2000's hits.

Maybe try some of these bands?

- Blink 182
- Gin Blossoms
- Third Eye Blind
- Toad the Wet Sprocket
- Matchbox 20
- Green Day
- Foo Fighters
- Tom Petty (newer stuff)
- Aerosmith (newer stuff)
- Fuel
- Eve 6
- Sublime
- Everclear
