How's it going. I was wondering if anyone could tell what Tele this is. At first I thought it was the Blackout but doesn't that only come in maple neck and head? The Tele in this picture looks like rosewood with a black (matching) head. It doesn't look like an HH though because of the single coils on there.

So any idea what this is? I've seen it different times and now it's perplexing me.

EDIT: new pics

Nope, the John 5 sig has a different headstock, and it has a humbucker on the bridge and the bridge plate is modified too, also, the pickup switch is placed somewhere else on the body.
It's probably modified.

Not really... Looks like a humbucker to me.

I'm not sure what Humbucker he has, but a few months ago, MF had a close-out sale of the MII Squier Tele Special: Alder, stringthrough, H bridge, SC neck, no PG ... for $99.99.

I replaced the bridge PU with a SD Antiquity (PAF) and the neck with a DiMarzio Heavy Blues ... it's now an awesome stealth weapon! I was planning to paint the headstock Black and now I'm convinced I should.

Here's a stock pic:

I'm pretty sure that's an Aerodyne Tele.

He could have screwed it on over the controls. That's how most Tele's controls are mounted anyways.

Could have been modded for a hum in the bridge, maybe?

You guys are probably right though.

I think it's like Telecaster plus, or something like that. It's got a humbucker and a single coil. I think Thom Yorke of Radiohead uses one, or one of the other Radiohead guitarists do.
