k i think ive narrowed down my amp search to 2 models:

Crate V Series V50-112 50W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp

The V-Series for sure.

The VK is more high-gain, metal type OD.

The V-Series is more modern sounding than the Palominos, but it will still pull off the classic rock easily.

Best of luck. OH! I highly suggest, when you get the cash, to get an OD.

EDIT: But, the best way to do it is to use your own ears. Or can you not test them?

well i dont know if my local guitar center has them stocked but i will check in the next 2 weeks or so....

stratman, what OD pedal would you recommend...ive heard the bad monkey is a pretty good deal...would you recommend that one??????

imo, the V-series would be a good choice as well.

the BM is pretty good for the price.

bad monkey is awesome for the price. i'd take a bad monkey over most ODs any day. of course high end ones are expensive for a reason
