learning alot more scales but one huge question i have it that if you play the F minor pentatonic in the 14 14 13 13 13 14 pattern if moved up 2 frets, is it G minor? or do you need a whole nother box of the scale that only fits at the third fret?

If you take this F minor shape, for example:
e--------------------------------------------13-16-----
B-----------------------------------13-16---------------
G--------------------------13-15----------------------
D-----------------13-15-------------------------------
A---------13-15---------------------------------------
E-13-16-----------------------------------------------
You can move it up two frets and you'll be playing a G minor shape, but I'd suggest learning the actual scales as opposed to just the patterns.
