I have no opinion on this matter.

SNES with StarFox, Super Ghouls N Ghosts, Super Mario World, Top Gear (fukkin great theme song to that game), and Batman Returns.

Also, that Super Game Boy adapter thing you can plug into the SNES to play game boy games through. I LOVE that thing. You can mess with the color scheme in the game, draw everywhere, etc...

I hate all that "ONLY" thread crap. I don't want to sift through a topic with 400 pages. I'm being a rebel.

Well, Battletoads took up a very large percentage of my childhood, and then pokemon and the N64 turned me into a gamer.

Mostly all the GameBoy systems. And YES, I DID have the GameBoy Pocket. lol. First game on those I ever played was Tetris on the original GameBoy. I was also graced to be able to play the SNES and NES, and played the Street Fighter games, the Mario games, Zelda, etc. Then came the PS1 on which I played a few on there. I still mostly played the GameBoys though. I played until my small, 9 year old hands were blue. Great times.

NES and SNES, then later on, N64. I was always behind the times with systems though. I remember being annoyed by the fact that I'd go into a game store looking for SNES and N64 games and find a bunch of ps2 and GC games.

I started my gaming voyage with the NES. Super Mario, Duck Hunt, and we would rent games occasionally.

My gamer ways started picking up with the SNES, where I had Super Mario All Stars, Super Mario World, and a few others I didn't play as much. Also, we had a Sega Genesis, and later the 32X attachment. My favorite games I had were Alien3, Awesome Possum, Jeopardy, Afterburner 32X and Star Wars Arcade 32X.

And I became FULLY engulfed in gaming forever with my N64 and my Playstation.

So, while I may have been raised on Nintendo prodominately, I say my REAL gamer life started with that key N64/PSX generation.

EDIT: Also, I should mention that in between the NES and SNES years was our trusty Commodore 64. I STILL love that thing to this day. We had SO MANY classic arcade games on it, and a version of Wheel of Fortune that would REFUSE to stop using vulgar language in the puzzles.

Anyone else even heard of the Amiga? xP

I didn't until this year, and I REALLY want one.

My IT teacher has one wrapped in bubble wrap in his class room we are forbidden to touch. He has all of his old 3.5" floppy games, and the one we ALL wish is called:

Libiyans in Space (spelt exactly like that)

It seems to amazing.

Oh I completely forgot about Battletoads!

It was hilarious when playing 2 players since you could beat the crap out of each other. You always got into a fight with your friend for stealing the bonus items so you would kick him off a cliff.
