So I'm planning to get the fireball (thanks guys :P)--or whatever head I get, I'll probably just buy the head first and get the cabinet later.

Would using my orange as a cabinet be alright? I mean, would it sound decent? I'm still not sure which cabinet I'm going to get, but in the mean time, would this be a good alternative?

I agree, give him the orange, I already got one

But seriously, buy yourself A decent cabinet because it will pay off more and you will be able to use the Fireball with its full potential.

Right, that's what I'm planning to do. I'll be saving up money for a 2x12.

Wait up..
The fireball is....50 watts? I'm sure it's more than 30 than your orange speaker is rated at anyway...

The Fireball is 60 Watts, and the Rocker 30 Combo has a Celestion Vintage 30 in it which is rated at 60 Watts.

Depending on how conservatively the Fireball's wattage is rated you might push it over 60 Watts (if it's cranked), and your gear will get damaged.

So, it's probably not recommended!

The V30 will handle a 60W amp without a problem.

I'm just sad that Jin's already done with his Orange.

Wait. Sorry to hijack the thread Jin, but I've got a similar problem. I plan to get a Carvin Legacy head, and this gave me the idea of using my Blues Jr. as a cab for gigs rather than lugging around my 4 x 12 cab. But the Blues Jr. has no effects loop or really anything besides an input. How would I go about playing through it if it's possible?
